La Laguna celebrates 25 years as a World Heritage City, an anniversary in which, in addition to analysing the impact of this declaration in economic and social spheres, it reviews its evolution and historical and cultural significance through the eyes of the artists who lived there or visited it.
LM Arte Colección, in collaboration with the Department of Cultural Heritage of La Laguna City Council, is organising the temporary exhibition ‘Lagunear. Memory and Transformation’, a unique exhibition project in the archipelago.
The LM Arte Colección museum (Calle Obispo Rey Redondo, 32) will host a special opening for the media on Thursday (25th September) at 10:30 am, prior to the official inauguration.
The event will be attended by the Mayor of La Laguna, Luis Yeray Gutiérrez; the Councillor for Cultural Heritage, Adolfo Cordobés; two of the managers of LM Arte Colección, Cristina González Lorenzo and Manuel González Lorenzo, as well as the director of the centre and curator of the exhibition, Eliseo G. Izquierdo.
