Descripción del evento

Coinciding with the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the declaration of San Cristóbal de La Laguna as a World Heritage City by UNESCO and the 11th edition of our Cycle ‘The heritages of La Laguna’, coordinated by Carlos Rodríguez Morales and Roberto J. González Zalacain, the IECan library is holding this exhibition entitled ‘The bibliographic heritage of the IECan’, in the inner courtyard of our headquarters from 26 November to 30 December 2024.

Timetable: 26 November 2024 – 10.00 h – 30 December 2024 – 14.30 h

In it we present a selection of the most outstanding monographs in the IECan library, from unique editions that come from the legacy of the private libraries of former members of the entity to copies of great interest donated by individuals, which represent a significant expansion of the old collection and the possibility of consulting books that are out of print or difficult to acquire.

All the copies of the exhibition can be consulted in our library, from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 3 pm, and are catalogued together with the rest of our bibliographic collection in BICA, the Canarian Library Network of which we are part, as a specialised library.
